The Friends of Hauberg Civic Center is hosting a membership drive at Hauberg Civic Center.  There will be tours of the mansion and grounds given by Rock Island Parks and Recreation staff.  Local Hauberg family members will be in attendance to share personal stories about the house and the family.  Samantha Crisp, special collections librarian at Augustana College, will be giving a presentation on the digitization of the John Hauberg photos.  Membership in the Friends group is $20 per person.  The public is invited to attend the open house and learn more about the services the center offers and the history of the Denkmann-Hauberg families.
