The November 2017 Rock Island Preservation Society newsletter celebrates both the history and the future of Longview Park. You’ll enjoy the pictures of work done on the Chalet in preparation for the 100th Birthday Celebration of the Chalet. And you can read about how our local parks were part of a bigger, nation-wide program in the 1930s, which enriches our lives to this day.
Update your calendars with the upcoming membership meetings. Please note that both November and December meetings land on the second Tuesday of the month and the December social meeting starts a little earlier than usual, at 6:30. Our January meeting returns to our “usual” third Tuesday of the month.
