May is National Historic Preservation Month.  Normally we would be presenting preservation awards and planning tours or events.  But due to Covid-19, this year is very different.  But that does not mean we cannot celebrate.  Follow our Facebook page for preservation updates, a group information search project, and more.  Read our newsletter posted here on the website.  Get excited about a building you have always liked and investigate its story. The patchwork of buildings, stories and people around us creates the fabric that is our unique city.  This is our month to celebrate historic preservation, one of the tools used to protect this tapestry that is Rock Island.

Due to the Covid-19 virus our membership meeting this month will be a virtual event on Zoom.  Login information will be included on the agenda email you will receive prior to the event.  Hope everyone can join in.
