In the mid-1980’s a local furniture conservator formed a new organization that would offer classes in historic preservation and museum collection care.  Located on a beautiful campus in Mount Carroll, Illinois, The Campbell Center for Historic Preservation has grown into a renowned institution welcoming students from around the world while also serving as a resource to local communities.
