Davenport has been selected to host the Iowa annual statewide preservation conference and Quad City preservation enthusiasts from both sides of the river have been invited to attend.  There will be receptions, tours, key-note speakers, and breakout sessions on a variety of topics including National Register nomination, historic storefronts, relocating historic properties, and the use of historic tax credits.  There will even be a Saturday morning Window Rehab Workshop that you can attend free of charge, though registration is required.  For additional information go to www.cityofdavenportiowa.com.
