July 17 is the date of our regularly scheduled membership meeting. It is also the date of the Rock Island County Board meeting. Members are encouraged to bring a dessert or finger food to share. Guests are welcome. We will have a business meeting as well to update the status of the courthouse and other preservation issues. We will be meeting in the conference room on the 2nd floor.
We are a city-wide organization in Rock Island, Illinois, that advocates for preservation of our built environment through public education, research of historic buildings and sites and registration of significant historical places with local, state and federal authorities.
